Onward Basketball has been developed by the staff of Faith Church of Grayslake.  It takes design elements from Upward Basketball, and blends in professional refereeing and stricter rules so that players in grades 7-9 will be better prepared for high school sports.

Two simultaneous games are played each hour for at least 10 hours on game Saturdays. Onward games may be played while Upward games are begin played on the adjacent court.  Upward basketball is designed for children of grades 1 through 6, with both boys teams and girls teams. Onward is designed for grades 7 - 9.  See the Upward section of this site for more details.

Onward provides skill training for each player, as well as spiritual enrichment through devotional times and Bible study materials.  Many Onward players also act as intern coaches for Upward teams.  Some Onward players were Upward players up to 6 years.
