Before you know it, Summer Day Camp for 2012 will be here!  Some of you may already be looking for answers about the coming season.  Registration information will be appearing on this website around mid-February.

Upward game day at Faith Church of Grayslake.

Two simultaneous games are played each hour for at least 10 hours on game Saturdays. Upward basketball is designed for children of grades 1 through 6, with both boys teams and girls teams. Onward is designed for grades 7 - 9.  See the Onward section of this site for more details. Leagues are organized to provide the best match for gender and age. Upward provides skill training for each player, as well as spiritual enrichment through devotional times and Bible study materials.

Every child plays equal amounts of time as is possible, and individual skill levels between teams are attempted to give each child an equivalent learning advantage. Each child is awarded for something each week, and in Upward, every child is a winner!

Onward Basketball has been developed by the staff of Faith Church of Grayslake.  It takes design elements from Upward Basketball, and blends in professional refereeing and stricter rules so that players in grades 7-9 will be better prepared for high school sports.
